Impressions from the reading life

#boutofbooks Challenge Fictional World Travel

Bout of BooksIt is time for the first challenge. Between Library Shelves wants us to post a pic of 3 to 6 books that take place in different countries, but not in our country of residence. I live in Germany, so that one's ruled out.
I chose only books I own, therefore the list is quite Europe/Western World focused. And I love every book on that list.
Haruki Murakami: Kafka on the Shore {Japan}
Gustav Meyrink: The Golem {Czech Republic}
Victor Hugo: The Hunchback of Notre-Dame {France}
János Székely: Temptation {Hungary}
Lucy Maud Montgomery: Anne of Green Gables {Canada}
Susanna Clarke: Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell {England, with some occasional continental scenes}
These are my recommendations for traveling via books. And my, were they hard to hold up with just one hand!
